Recently, Microsoft announced an enhancement to its Outlook Social Connector (OSC) thereby giving Outlook users integrated access to Facebook
and other social & professional networks
right from your favorite mail client
.
The updates from your networks are presented in a neatly docked panel which regularly refreshes the subscribed feeds (connections).
OSC takes this update information and mashes it up with your calendar and other data. And of course, you can decide as to what information from your profile should be shared with your network which means you can make certain information private and expose some to public at will.
